Looks like you want a pair of these! . They work in between the Airport and the BeoLab 3s. You can always join multiple ones together to reduce the sound even further if you find one pair is not enough.

There's more to a BeoVision 9 than just the panel. Don't forget it's got 2.5k worth of speaker built in, a BeoSystem 3, a pretty nicely made cabinet, motorized floorstand, and that beautiful frame isn't exactly cheap to manufacture.

KEF are certainly not a B&W ripoff, and they haven't really done anything particularly notable that I've heard recently, I think they've gone downhill to be honest! The PV1 will be very different to the KEF due to the electronics inside, which the KEF just doesn't have. The BeoLab 2 does have a built in crossover though, which is something you definitely

Option settings are basically something B&O started doing back in the 80s, where you would tell each component of a system what it was connected to and how it was set up. For example, option 1 tells it to only listen to it's own commands, ie, a TV would only obey video commands from the remote control, and ignore audio commands such as Radio or CD.

I don't see the point in doing what you're suggesting. Both outputs on the back of the Beomasters are wired to the same amp, there's only the two amplifiers in there. I see no benefit in doing this really...

The problem is that a lot of rich people are now trying to dress more like 'your average punter', or simply don't feel a need to let their money affect the way they dress.

Sounds to me like the internal battery could have seen better days, something which is quite common on these sets (and repairable). Still, make sure you're doing everything correctly...
