Sounds like your speaker is sick. What a shame, given that you were looking forward to getting them in the house. They should be COMPLETELY silent. Shielding from interference is important, of course. You might have something affecting them. My CRT television in the den actually influences my Grado RS-1 headset. If I go downstairs and switch the TV

pedrompinto: Francis, For the sound connection of the Mac Mini to the BV7-40 i used a rca analog cable, so far it works quite ok (i know that there are some solutions to connect it using the digital output of the mac mini, but are you a audiophile ?). Well, you can get surround sound out of your Mini through the optical minijak TosLink OUT -- which

Well, I don't own a BL7-1 or /2 -- but my BL3s connect nicely through a Powerlink to RCA adapter supplied by B&O, and I would be surprised if you couldn't use a similar one with these speakers. The only issue being that you want to be certain you get a stereo-connection. I have separate channel wires now, with a Powerlink plug in one end

pedrompinto: Francis, If you use the ethernet cable, you don't need to upgrade your devices since it runs at 100mb (if your router supports 100mb; you'd better check it out). In the meantime auto-mount the drive and see if it works for you. Yes, en Ethernet cable is preferable, for a stable and high-speed transmission of data. I'm using

It was fine -- until the 10.4.10 OS upgrade ...

I agree. I think that B&O "deselection" got the better of them this time around.

Puncher: Does anyone know why the BS4 was released without a digital out?? It seems a strange oversight for an audio source when you yourself sell speakers with a digital input, especially when your CD players have included a digital out since 1986. The cost adder can only have been minimal (if that!). And can you imagine how perfect the BS4 would have
