It is a US only device - the surround sound module works differently there and selecting no sub woofer does not simply send the frequencies to the front speaker as in the EU. You therefore need to comine the outputs which is what this box does.

I have a pair of M100s now - they are better but have a lot of bass so need to be in a big room. They should be better though as they cost twice as much as the S75 ! I have linked to Beocentral as the speakers pictured are mine - the S75s are the later teak pair I had - gave them to someone but cannot remember who!!

Had a look at one a couple of days ago - quite light - the non display side is a bit featureless but I suppose that is fair. Nice display and the hands free speaker is good. Same price as a Beocom 2 (just a little less) but not as iconic. The problem is integrating it into a present system as you lose the 2 line facility.

I suspect you are getting distortion from the 2400 - but I suppose it might be the speakers. Try another amplifier in the first event and see if it produces a similar effect.

The SP12 was a recognised upgrade for the SP10. The rare cartridge is probably the SP8/9 which was that fitted to the Beogram 3000 type 5210.

It is good - same basic TV as an Avant - speakers are not quite as good but not bad at all. Thinking of one myself! Don't get the 28" - not the same thing at all!
