Thanks, yes that's the question, will it still produce a perfect picture in HD. The reason i want HDTV on a BV3 is because i still want to enjoy the 5.1 sound during HD broadcasts when we get more Beolabs, without the HD display hoo-haa (something that is thankfully irrelevant with CRT).

The logos are 100% Philips. The entire unit is Philips apart from some minor tweaks to the user interface and the exterior HDR2 shell.
