Ah - I was going to offer to come round and lend you a cartridge to double check the problem if you lived within travelling distance but Sydney is just a tad out of my way The SMMC4 is far superior to the orignal B&O equivalent MMC4 sound wise, not as refined though in the manufacturing but well worth the money. I also have a B&O MMC3 (which

Now me being a Yorkshireman would look for some nice Beovox S55 speakers with foam rot for a tenner and repair them. One of my favourite B&O vintage speakers and if you can get the rosewood ones they look simply spectacular. Try and get the them with the original stands which are totally retro - cool and enhance the sound beautifully. If you don't

Craig: Have to agree with all the previous posts, I have now purchased several items from Lee. Superb service every time. Craig Ah but does he send free screws though Craig? (in joke) Chris.

It is 99% likely to be the cartridge. I had one in this exact condition with the exact same symptoms. A lovely Soundsmith SMMC4 replacement cured it. Where are you located? Chris.

I'd keep it but then again I'm also biased towards the retro stuff If you are a vinyl fan then it is worth more in terms of listening pleasure than the likely resale price IMO. I agree with previous comments re:- soundsmith cartridges. Chris.

Press stop then use the << >> button to track to where you want then press play. To be honest the track skip function on these decks isn't very good. You may as well use the buttons on the deck as you'd need to be close to the record to see the set down point in any case. Chris.

The silver ones certainly used BMW colours, not sure about other colours though. Chris.
