Perhaps Labcraft was Australian? (I actually found talk on these on audiokarma.org from two years back, in Oz as well) As the latter is claimed to be from a library, it makes sense to think that they may have been installed in a desk. Or what do you think ?

So as I understand the mech is not originally from this Beocenter? It could be some slight incompatibility between it and the software on the controller board, as it seems pretty obvious that the BC doesn't know when the disc has been out and doesn't re-read the index tracks. Seems it should know about it since the commands to open & close

Stonk, can you confirm which product we are talking about? Note that MCL2A, MCL2AV, MCL X-tra speaker kit and MCL X-tra active speaker kit are all different products! As far as I know all of them are supposed to connect to the Beomaster via an MCL cable - and in all of them(?) it is connected to a screw terminal strip inside the box, so there is no
