I have the Beo5 and stopped using it. It is nice to have the icons for the channels, but the rest of the operations requires more key press than the Beo4. You also need to keep the Beo4 to hand anyway, as the Beo5 runs out of battery quite often and needs to be recharged. If you have a sound system only, do not get the Beo5. If you have a more complex

Had not realised you did not have a B&O TV in the link room. You can bring the video signal from the BS3 to the link rooms, but you have to change a setting on the BS3 to activate the RF modulater permanently. Then you should be able to access the video signal of the BS3 (and any non HD source connected to it) from the link room TV and control the

If your BC2 is a DVD version (as opposed to CD), then you will access it with the DVD key on your Beo4 and if you have a DVD in the main room you will access it by pressing LINK+DVD. p.

...and it is a software not just a document, just in case it is not clear. You select all the products you have in each room and it tells you how to connect them, configure them and what are the limitations.

linder: You do have a point. The stacking of these components could really be a unified design. However I still would need a cabinet for a cable box, Apple TV and whatever else comes along. I have ordered from B&O, as a spare part, the shell of a HDR2... and my ugly set top box is underneath ;-) p.

MikaelB: Like the idea of just doing it on wikipedia and then link to BeoWorld. Is it possible to deep link to pages on BeoWorld from e.g. wikipedia? The problem with doing it on Wikipedia, is that all content must be free of rights. Beoworld has a lot of valuable articles, duplicating/rewriting this information on Wikipedia would be both fastidious

We do not suggest to replace the Forum by a wiki. The forum is a great place to discuss. It is the Product/FAQ/Article pages so that they can evolve a bit more. The Format would remain similar, it is just that volunteer could contribute. The navigation could also be improved from the current one. p.
