I suggest that you download the 9000 service manual and read it before proceeding!

There is a test routine described in the service manual which should help. My guess.........dirty laser lens........or cd mech knackered.

If it's a motorised stand then the motor will be different. If it's non motorised then it will be OK

You can buy a modified Beo4 which will do this job. Someone in Scandinavia I believe but I can't recall who or where!

The only place you will get these is your B&O dealer who can order them as spare parts.

I do have a pair of Beovox 4500 with grey frets. Some marks on the stainless panels. You need to see them. Where are you?

Frank Rizzo: So Graham...is it in bass, high end or where do you think the pentas out perform the BL 1's?? Peter...why do you think the BL 1's are better?? Just curious... Beolab 1 has a very cold clinical overall sound. I would describe them as all ting, ting and very little boomp boomp. They are certainly not suitable for my choice of music

They are similar height. That's where the similarity ends. Other than the Beolab 4, Beolab 1's are quite simply the least impressive speaker produced by B&O in the modern era..........and I don't care what Dave Moulton says!!!

Daniel: iphone: Quoted Before: European electrical systems are 220v I don´t know about the rest of the old world but Sweden has changed to 230/400 V. It´s 15 years ago but people still say 220/380! Europe has standardised on 230v + or -. Could drop as low as 220 or be as high as 240 but this makes no difference to the equipment.

marcus_m: joeyboygolf: The radio will work in Italy just fine. Slightly different FM range but not sufficient to cause major problems. What about the frequency stepping? In the past I had a US car radio and the frequency steps were fixed to x,0 x,2 x,4 x,6 .... so it was not possible to tune the local station at 95,5MHz (in Germany). Marcus The only
