I am afraid that I don't agree. If sound quality is the real issue, the Sony is the way to go. Shame that the ATRAC system is no more as this really was good. having said that, I wouldn't really describe any 'MP3' player as audiophile. Very useful when walking the dog though! BS2 has the advantage of being able to be operated without

Nice system - pictures required! Which Pentas? Powered or passive? I too use a 5500 system as well as pentas, though not in the same room! I hope you really enjoy the system - Of course you will be needing a Beovision next, then rear speakers! Then the link system! Welcome to Beoworld! Much better to post on the forum as you should get more of an audience

The service manual for the S120 is on site - look under the MS150. I don't think I have the MC120.2 and don't know the changes.

I record using AAC these days and the sound quality at 320kbps is fine - I use Sennheisser HD600s for more serious listening. The BS2 is just not good enough now and has a built in loudness circuit that you cannot

From the manual. A little continuity testing should reveal which is which!

In my view, the BV10 is a worthy successor to the Avant - similar type of style but more modern and at a very similar price. No DVD but I have a BC2 ready and waiting. The Beotime costs £290.

[quote user="hebo"] [quote user="Peter "] Just ordered mine! Or pre-ordered anyway!! This is what I have been waiting for - everything I am looking for in a new set to replace my Avant. If I am completely honest, an easel frame like the BV5 would be even better but now I am just quibbling. Hope for it beginning of December and will

Oh, and I have just pre-ordered my BV10 today! This is a wonderful product!
