soundproof: Going by his comments, I would guess because it was too small? The get the BV8-32? The problem with LCD technology is that the quality depends on the incoming signal. Connect it up to a poor analogue signal, and the display will be poor. Connect to a decent digital image and it's superb. My BV8-26 is connected as a link room TV from

Yes, I have the BL2 (before the BL9's) and I've almost turned it off. Not required and definitely not required in an apartment! I could sell it I suppose, but it's a very early model and I bought it second hand, so my thought was it's probably 'worth' more to me, for future use?

Yes, they come in dark grey (as I own these). I thought it was around £100 per fret and there were two per speaker?

Dude, that's the same on any forum. Have you ever seen the Manchester Utd forum? My oh my! It's waaaaay more tricky to be polite through email/chat/forum. It's so easy to come across as cold and blunt. It happens a lot for me ;) Often a 'personal attack' can seem very personal, when it's more of a criticism or questioning observation

Flappo The Grate: particularly from trip english who really should know better and does a great disservice to bno's 'dealer' reputation imo with his 'jokes' aimed at us 'customers' But this means we're now attacking TripEnglish! The policy should apply to all.

Don't be shocked - the 4.24 was supposed to fix the white flash problem and didn't. It was even reported as a key fix for 4.24! So, you do have to wonder how much testing they do to come to a conclusion something is 'fixed' when does exactly what it did with the previous sw.

I've started experiencing this, too, since 4.24. The TV just completely switches off, for no reason. It's done it 3 times in the last couple of weeks. What happens is that you hear a 'switching off' sound and the speakers go in to standby. However, no red standby light on the TV - that comes on about 30 seconds later. At first, I thought

Flappo The Grate: i'm amazed that bno spend that much on r&d Correct. I read somewhere that Apple spend around 10% on R&D, but then look at the sheer number of products and product updates they release each year. Indeed, I also read that Apple were seeking to reduce R&D spend so it was less than 10% - that was over a year ago. B&O
