If you only want to get the Beomaster playing, you might fabricate "adapter plates" from veneer or something, and use 4" round speakers. Should not show on the outside, and completely reversible if you happen to find more suitable speakers some day.

The spkr 2 connectors are connected pretty much directly to the output amp while spkr 1 take the longer route through the muting relay... can't be sure without the 9300 service manual, but I can't believe that this could be anything else than a problem in the connectors themselves, their solderings, or the wiring that leads up to them. Do both! (i.e don't ever throw that broken MMC2 away! You'll be getting another Beogram sooner or later anyway ) If all you want to do is listen to some records, the SMMC4 will be more than adequate. I have one and IMHO it is clearly better than an original MMC4, probably beats MMC3 as well. I also had my MMC2 repaired by Axel with a basic elliptical

To route Powerlink signals through installed Ethernet RJ-45 cabling and patch bays? It obviously has nothing to do with Ethernet otherwise!

Considering it's a heavy TV and the hinge is way off to the side - it might be that the bracket is level on its own, but not anymore when you put the TV on it! Something that is difficult to anticipate on the drawing board...
