As far as I am aware the kit to update the Mark I & II is the same and certainly has the same part number. To update previous BeoSound 9000s, Type 252x and 256X, with software version 2.5 order part no. 8344087

Sandy, The Russound switch can only be used for switching speakers meaning passive speakers, so no it cannot switch active Powerlink speakers.

The message " Configuration Version Mismatch " is caused by the fact that your Beo5 has been updated to firmware 1.23a which is the latest version, but you are using Configuration Tool Version 1.02 which only supports the previous firmware version.. For this to have occurred your Beo5 must have been updated using the new Configuration Tool
