The people working with iTrans and iRed are hard at work creating a new version which will work on the iPhone. In their words: "the best remote control ever." It will be fully B&O compatible. Here's their iTunes beta interface: The face will change according to the hardware you are using. If you have SONY, this is what it will look

If she paid several thousand dollars to have her Beocenter 9000 repaired, then someone should be arrested and charged with fraud and larceny. That dealership or repairshop should have suggested that it would be much more economical to purchase a BS4, for instance. (Must say I'm skeptical of the amount you quote.) I agree with your point about B&O

I love my BL3s and my BL5s. I have the 5s set up with a generous distance to the back wall, and a meter from the side wall, in a room which is quite ideal for audio. Must say I'm very pleased with their sound, on the acoustic music I listen to. I'm using an untraditional source, though, as I run them through a Konnekt 24D from t.c. electronic

Unfortunately, the public's ability to be oblivious of picture quality is advancing LCD at the expense of the superior plasma technology. Even Pioneer is starting to wonder whether people really care about picture quality. (Right now they can't make enough of their Kuro screens, and that's a good thing. Beofan2: The China discussion is interesting and I agree Beo are not the only company to outsource. But don´t you agree this discussion to be taken in another posting. This posting is about Serenata, remember. I agree and disagree, since the issue was whether Chinese manufacture would be negative for the product and turn off customers. It doesn't

Judy: I wonder if he's tried wearing them like headphones as Soundproof does Wouldn't work - too great a distance between the different drivers, relative to the little ear. Which is what really makes the BL3 the performer for this kind of weirdness - the drivers are so close together that you get a perfect sound "spray" straight at

Some of the world's best hifi elements are being manufactured in China - and most electronics these days contain parts from a multitude of countries, as do automobiles, exclusive white goods and whatnot. Even the brands we think are strongly localized, such as Porsche and BMW, have outsourced and de-centralized manufacture, often in ways they wouldn't

Here's a large room that I think would be much better served by BL5s or Muons than by the monstrosity placed in them - the world's most expensive speakers: http://www.luxist.com/2007/05/24/1-million-grand-enigma-speakers-top-the-list-of-most-expensive/

David: If i had a massive old house made of marble, these would be the icing on the cake. I just feel skeptical about how they may sound! How they sound? In a marble house? Think resonance and echo!!! But you're right - with some interesting, expressive architecture, with strong areas of interchanging light and dark, you would get stunning reflections
