John I agree entirely with you which was the reason I answered Simons original post in an attempt to show him nothing was being hidden furtively. What I don't particularly like is uninformed insinuation and was the reason behind my rather more heated reply, I would like to think my voice has just the same right of hearing as his. Personal insults

The Beonic Man: Thanks Chris, I appreciate your response. Of course there is a vested interest, that goes without saying. Nobody sets something up for free at a cost to themselves, that purely isn't business practice, good or bad. Financial gain doesn't come into it, but all sorts of other gains do, such as being offered your own dealership

I'm not going to cover old ground regarding the original post on this subject. One of the other moderators removed as it was really going nowhere as there are certainly no vested financial interests from anyone on Beoworld. However I do respect your opinions Simon and thought your above comment warranted a reply. Chris.

I'd definately recommend Martins kit, got mine up & running again and the supplied instructions really make life a lot easier. Chris.

You can connect ANY passive speakers but you will need 2 pin DIN speaker plugs to connect to your beomaster which are available form any decent electrical retailer such as Maplins in the UK. Item number FM42V is the screw connector type. Make sure you get the polarity correct though - small round post is positive & flat spade is therefore negative

You have a PM Bob. Chris.

Hi & welcome to Beoworld. Member Keith Saunders seems to our resident beocom 6000 expert but I will throw in my tuppenorth of advice. It could be a rubber contact strip (called a zebra strip I think) between the PCB and the display which has deteriorated. I may have a spare display knocking around somewhere if needs be, where are you located? Chris

Your dealer may be able to help as parts are still available for the Beocenter 9300, whether or not this was fitted to this model I'm not sure though. Chris.

Milton78: The plug is not there nope. Graham has hit the nail on the head here (as usual)......... that's your problem. Chris.
