The official word for the moment is only in the fullHD BV7-40...

It took 2 1/2 hour in total, but I had the TV flashed with new firmware and new STB-C list, which probably took 1/2 hour of the 2 1/2. p.

Hi all, Just wanted to share my experience. I have had a DVB-T / Freeview tuner fitted in my BV7-32. It is really expensive, and it took hours to be fitted (and that is invoiced as well) but I now think it is really worth it. The picture is fantastic as well as the sound (2.1 on some channels). The picture is much better than from my SKY box (non HD

I am myself redecorating my new flat, and white will be quite dominant. I am by the same occasion hiding all the cables and masterlinking all the flat! I do have a MX7000 that I converted to white. It looks great. I like that B&O release most products in white. It will be more popular than the red and blue. beoaddict: BTW: it would open nice opportunities

I remember we were given a hint that it will be two way during the meal in Struer. But the specifications of the Beo5 are on the B&O site... and I would find it strange that they publish incomplete/false specs. I however would love the remote to be 2 way! But I prefer not to convince myself that it will be and then be disappointed. p.

The Beo4 (and all Beo remotes) does not operate in the same range of frequencies as other remote controls, such as philips, sony, etc... The Beo5 can emit in 3 different frequency ranges, so it could control directly (i-e without STB-C) other devices. It is not widely used because it is not supported by the config software right now, except for Lutron

jk1002: Reading some more in the french forum, it seems information about the BS5 and a 2 way remote is still vague - nothing was shown it seems. So we have to hold our thumbs. The Beo5 does not have the hardware to do 2 way... so we need to forget about it unfortunately. What I would suggest to B&O is to put a USB socket on the Beomaster5/Beomedia1
