Probably easier to change all the trim! You would then have a 3300 that looked like a 3000. Or just get a 4500. I agree with you about the looks of the 3300 - what were they on the night that design was signed off! Nasty grey paint and vomit green lights! The 3000 is far better! Unfortunately, the 3300 is much more useful!

Out at Linden Hall this Saturday - spaghetti carbonara and pink champagne tonight!

Well I am now an owner (or at least will be when it arrives!) of a BeoTime! It is my 20th wedding anniversary today and alomng with a Basset Hound fleece, I have a picture of a BeoTime!

The speed adjustment is completely obvious and also impossible to find!! The two spots next to the 33 and 45 above the top plate are actually slotted and will alter the speed - you can set the speed acurately with the built in strobe. The capacitors in my 4000 were fine. Join as a silver member and the full service manual is on site in English.

Afraid that this correct. You might find a terminel 5000 does something but I would not risk it. Interestingly, the terminal 3300 uses Beolink 1000 codes.

I would agree. Unless this is in good condition cosmetically, it sounds as if you have quite a bit of work ahead of you. The plastic pulley will probably be cracked and I doubt the speed stability is just the belt. These are complex to repair - mine was done professionally.

Since you have both, which receiver do you think is better?

Press the preset button you want to retune. Press Advance or Return depending on whether you want a higher or lower frequency. If you want to change wave band, press << or >>. Once you have found the programme you want, press Control, Store and the preset button you want.

I am sure the positive spin for Panasonic has nothing to do with the large advertising banner and the recommendation from Len Wallis is based on a clear knowledge of the B&O range, Beolab 5s included.

Just bought a Littmann 4100 - nice stethoscope and far more useable than the 4000 I tried a couple of years ago. It has noise cancelling technology so a lot of the extraneous noises are removed. Wondered why there was no mention of B&O at all!
