I've just set thes up in the study and am totally amazed at how good it sounds, even with quite heavy bass laden house music and no FM Stereo module. Not bad for a setup that's almost 40 years old! :-)

Apparently with these you then have to change the Scart setup in the cable to get stuff to work, all a bit fiddly.

I've always moved my Avants face down and never had a problem......

It's a two pin European plug, you can either buy a convertor or cut the plug off and rewire into a UK spec plug. Or get someone qualified to do it for safety reasons!

Paul, it's easy you just take them all off the walls and sell them to me....

How you did sort the battery out for the remote? Also neither of my 2400 remotes seem to work with either of my 2400 systems, although I suspect that its the fact that I can't seem to get any sort of battery to work. Or neither of the remotes work as they don't seem to make any sound! :-(
