Just looking into these boxes.... Am I right in thinking you can't have triggers such as GO 1 or GO RIGHT? This is how the Beo4 is used to control my Sky box, so it would be helpful if I could make it control my media center pc in approximately the same way. the ~10k resistors would definitely be something I'd try - it should be high enough so as to not affect any signal, but low enough to hopefully cut out the noise when it's off. Worth a go!
