I just called the Service centre and got abused over the phone... Regardless, I then called my dealer and he said that it seemed to be ok, they have the same SW module readings in red with the same versions as me and these are two independant places, i.e. one in the UK and one in France!

I know that there has been 1 update to them, have there been any more? Is it worth getting a really early one? The reason I ask is, if it is ok to do so, then I can then stop worrying to buy them new now before the 10% price increase and whenever I'm in a better house in the middle of a desert, I can then just get a used pair, which would remain

thanks jk1002, The thing is that "my dealer" is in the UK and I live in Paris. When I asked about a home demo, they said that you need to put the money forward, then they can bring the speakers over, then you choose which one you want etc etc. So i dont know... maybe its worth asking the dealer to put the volume low...?

Thanks mbee! Paris as well :) My dad has the BL3 and I had them as well, but never with the BL2. If it wasn't for this stinking price increase, I would have gone with them regardless, it's just I want to take advantage of it being cheap now and get something 'expensive'

You deserved it ofcourse! Well, I dont have the BL3s yet, just the 7.4 and the BL2... does this change anything? Can the BL9s be adjusted not to disturb the neighbours (why am I so considerate... dammit!:p)
