Indeed this was the original concept behind BeoLab 9, that was intended for recording studios & professional use as monitors.

I don't think this has been discussed before, so wanted to share the news.. Bosscom is making a wireless Powerlink system, sending via radio the Powerlink signals as explained in the drawing.. Good thing is that the mute /auto on-off works like with true Powerlink connections. Not so good thing is that you need 2 to 3 extra power plugs!

Hi, the BeoSound 8 has no outputs, only inputs, so in theory, it is impossible to even connect a pair of headphones..! In practice, if you really want to connect a sub, the only way to do it is to send the audio signal to your sub, then use the sub's audio out to re-route the rest of the signal to the BS8.
