With CRT tvs you could get designers to come up with something new and spectacular looking (Avant, MX, AV9000) but how hard is it to design a flat screen tv. Its a rectangle with a chrome strip round it. What else is there to actually design on it? Edit. Just actually looked at the link and it hasnt got a chrome edge but still, its a rectangle with

The other day I was moving a few bits and pieces around and as a bit of fun I connected one of my BM1000's to my Beovox Pentas. I know the BM1000 warns you on the back about connecting it to small speakers but I was very impressed by what it can do when hooked up to big ones. It sounded terrific! Does any one on here use "big" speakers

Ouch, hope it all works out for you.

I have just got hold of another BM1000 which I plan to do some work on to hone my soldering skills. Its an early white key version that has Danish towns/stations on the dial instead of the normal frequencies. One channel is rather crackley so I am hoping to be able to sort this out by changing caps, any hints as to which it may be or should I just change

A lead got caught somehow and basically I dropped it. It landed on its side approx 5mm away from the foot of one of the pentas

I found twitter very amusing for one evening, then became bored and have never looked at it since. A bit like facebook and other such sites. If I want to be in contact with someone I will call them, I dont need to know what some one that I havent spoken to for 15 years did on their holiday.

I used to drive a Renault 11 (I know, not that old) and it leaked all its water out on the M4 when returning from a camping holiday with some mates. So at the side of the road we topped it up with 2 cans of Stella Artois, 3 peoples wee and a couple of raw eggs to block up the holed radiator. It ran perfectly for 2 weeks like that. The smell when I finally

I think back in the days of yore artists released albums that were ment to be listened to in one go. Nowadays an album is just a collection of random songs. I doubt Jedwards latest album will contain any sort of story/meaning/anything else running through the whole disc. Also I would say that the days of albums are very limited. People (well younger
