I was 15 when I first saw an BeoCenter 9500 together with RedLine speakers... From that moment on I knew that one day I would own a B&O system... :-) 11years later I bought an Ouverture + MX7000 :-)

I always thought that the internal speakers of an iMac were crap... therefore I've added a couple of Logitech USB speakers. Question now.. is this going to affect the working of Linkplayer/BeoPort. Audio is tranfered to BeoPort through the headphone. And if a headphone is connected then the sound of other sound devices is cut off. Basicly there

The odds of the new system having Airplay: zero :-( Anyway... AirPlay is going to make it (more) difficult for B&O...

Hope it's a 32" version... there are more then enough larger TV's in current selection!

Having done a number of installations... I can concur that a BL2 is of no use when you have a well configured system with BL5's. The BL5's blow the BL2 straight out of the water in every aspect.. power, volume, depth. And when listening to music the BL5's are fantastic and superb speakers where the BL2 tends to be slow with up-tempo music

[quote user="9 LEE"] The 'tut'... ah yes, i've heard that so many times. 'Mrs 9 LEE' resigned herself to the fact that B&O would appear, disappear, reappear and then spread to other rooms a long time ago. She's even given up acknowledging new items - apart from the recent addition of some BeoLab 5's in the lounge

The ICEpower amps will probably cost them less than the other sourced amps... Makes sense economically.

@peter: I think there's something wrong with the specs... The 6000's go lower than the 8000's

Both 6002 & 8002 have the same power amplifier for tweeter & woofer?
