Martin, I'm not certain that you can make this combination of products work as you hope. My understanding is that once there is ANY B&O A/V piece attached via PowerLink, you must expect to use a B&O CD in order to use the S/PDIF inputs. This is because the B&O A/V piece sends information along the PL MK2 cables which control volume,

Hi Kevin, any US B&O shop should be able to sell you one. If they don't stock it, they can order it in using the part number I gave you above. If you can't find one locally, I might know where one is.

A quick note for you, so that you can get a jump. You are going to NEED a relay to turn the BeoLab 2 on for you. The BL-2 doesn't have a 'line input' setting like the 3's. Here in the US we have a 'locally produced'item (#0898127); but surely they offer something similar in other markets as well. Of course, since you had one

This question has been answere here before; but it is confusing...so here we go.... Complete the analog connections between the BV-5 and the BL-5's as normal. Complete the S/PDIF daisychain from the BR-2 socket box to the BL-5's as described earlier here. As you point out, there is only one digital output...did you note that there is only one

As far as I know there aren't any available to be seen; you're going in blind on this one.

Yes, with complete abandon, the CX's for instance were listed at 6ohms. Any modern amplifier should have no problem with anything in that range.

Experiences from the sales floor (which I am loathe to do): Despite Andy's rather lurid, though convincing, scenario (and I have a cat and an Avant); I call this the 3-in-the-morning rule. Anything it is possible to do, you WILL do by mistake. If, for instance, you accidentally awaken your wife (or God forbid, the children) once, that might be forgiven

Shouldn't be, no. In any situation which is essentially pure B&O, use the Left and Right settings. Line recognizes only the RCA input, which is not what you want here. As to MK2 vs. MK3, the BeoLab should not care.

Hi Sean, Assuming that you have a pair of the 8-pin PowerLink cables, and are attaching to the 8-pin PL socket(s) on your 9000 you should have all you need in hand. However, you should not be using the LINE input setting on the BeoLab 1's. Set the switches (as appropriate) for Left and Right, and you ought to be in business.

Forgive the follow-on question from across the pond, but with our different product line-up and all the switching back and forth between Norwegian (I presume) and English, I may have missed something here. If the Audio Master in question is, in fact, a n Ovetür, then it can't communicate with the MX via the Aux socket, as the Overtür is
