Just a thought, but if you are getting a signal with DVD but not TV - are you sure that the second TV is tuned in to the channels?
-
I don't think this is possible - I've tried it and the Camcorder connections are local sources only and not distributable via the link system
-
I have a beo4 that doesn't work properly and the panel is ropey - anyone know if it can be exchanged for a re-conditioned unit?
-
Absolutely stunning - It's given me an idea to use the shell of a worn out beovision 9002 with the tambour door, this is truelly awesome. I'd recommend a lintronic box so that you use a beo4 to control all the non b&o parts. Congratulations, an amazing piece of work

The Camcord socket is a local socket only and doesn't get distributed - I had the same probelm when I hooked up my IPOD into it and wanted to distribute the sound and picture. Because there are only two available scart sockets on the back of the avant the only option (I think) is to get an AV2 expander and plug DVD1 into one and airport in the other

I did the same thing almost and now the original avant doesn't recognise it's original board - I think it's messed up the software. It seems that the news cards need a resistor installing before you install the card.

It's a long shot but try switching off everything connected to ML and then powering it all back up. If that doesn't work try unplugging everything from the Avant including the masterlink and see if that works on TV - if it doesn't then it has to be something in the TV, if it does work, try connecting everything back up one at a time to find

Hi = Sorry for the confusion, I have an Avant 28 VCR in my living room and connected to it is a satellite received and a dvd player. In my bedroom there is an Avant 32 VCR with no satellite or DVD player connected - the only connection is the ML Cable and aerial. The book says that if you want to watch a DVD then you have ot press LINK then DVD to watch

I don't post that much but am interested in this forum and read with ineterest some of the great discussions that have taken place, but, I was surprised at reading this post and have to agree with Chris - it was quite an immature posting and insulting to everyone who is offering constructive criticism of the brand in the hope that our comments are

I have an Avant in my living room with a DVD and Sattellite and another Avant in my bedroom. they are both linked and option in the bedroom is 6. The problem is that the sound is really bad when doing LINK then GO then DVD in my bedroom - is there a quick way of getting the AV sound through - on Sattellite I press SAT, LIST, AV, GO, SAT and the sound
