Second Prize – and it's all getting a bit hot under the collar now !!
ok, so no ultrasonic converter
-
Mrs,s are known to be immune to Be0virus, so dont do it
except mine - she started it all by wanting an ouverture with BL8000's
-
Yeah, the BEO5 I won last month doesn't control my BM2400 OR BM1900!!!
so you need an IR to ultrasonic converter is this a market gap? perhaps something to invent
-
Beovirus is found in ages 12 to 110 years
ok, I fit in But I'm afraid this second prize BEO5 won't control my BM2400 then
-
Vintage is for the real Beovirus carriers, but a nice BeoSound 8 will carry the virus for the younger generation
bingo - So regarding the virus: this really shows my age
-
perhaps it shows that vintage B&O prizes like last month are more attractive than apple stuff hx

I tend to say no This version of BEOlink1000 (MK3?) normally has printed text "LARGE" and "MIX" on the casing between the STOP-UP-PLAY and the LEFT DOWN-RIGHT keys As it's not printed here it looks like someone polished a "normal" version. Someone with more B&O-insider knowledge might step in... Gunther
Could be interesting to see a photo of the Beomaster 5000, the label and the innards.
Innards will be a bit problematic as unit is already stowed away but I made a photograph of the label back then. And just for another curiousity: what kind of funny person did this? Gunther
Note the red label, serial number and the P3 stamp (type of palisander finish).
Martin, just for curiousity: what does a red label mean? Is it prototype or limited edition? I own an BM5000 with a red label but shows no strange differences to the white label one. Thanks, Gunther
Could you please provide a photo of the primary side ? Martin
Wasn't that easy as there is no chance to get the primary side without removing the transformer But I luckily have one for repair right here so I took the chance - here it is: (remember this is 220V setting) HTH & good luck to Jeremy hx
