Is a Bv7-32 from December 06 as up to date as a new one and is it the same panel , I'm thinking about replacing my Bv6-26 in my bedroom . I know it hasn't got the connections my 7-40 has but all I will be using is the existing ML to a Bv5 down stairs . Richard

Have you tried putting the good one well out or range the go thru the removing and re-loading components . They don't like bad batteries , even on the charger if the batteries are dead I have found they give problems . Don't know if you can have two in the same room , I have three but a bit reluctant to bring two together in case it screws them

I had the same problem ( Bv7-40 + Bv6 ) , put in a link amp. ( £65 ) and can get all bar Hdmi . Richard

Thanks' Medogsfat , I knew it was on here somewhere or on the old forum but couldn't find it . The functions I need works fine but how do you exit menu's , that's not on the list . Tried Stop , Shift Stop and a few others but can't find a button or combination of to exit ? Richard

The engineer found errors in the service menu again and has now put software 4.00a in but it refused to flash one of the modules so that's as it was . He asked me to earth the outer on the aerial as a charge can build up . If it now still turns off on its own they will replace it . Richard

It's been said many times before but keep your eye on the glass panels they may be about to fall out , if they have been used flat people don't always notice the adhesive tape is breaking down . Richard

It had 3.5 software when it arrived , he then loaded 4.12 to get it up to date then this shut-down issue started after a few days , he thought it was a ML issue so installed 4. software to see if that cured it . Richard
