Hi, I do not have a Beo4 on hand but the command should be there. Can you not get the sound by pressing A.AUX directly? Are the speakers connected to the BC2 rather than the BV10?
Speakers are connected to BC2. I have no problems getting sound from an AUX source through BC2 to the connected speakers by pressing

I would like to get the sound from my Beocenter 2 through my Beovision 10-40. I have no problems to get e.g. CD or Radio sound through the BV10 by pressing "LIST" "AV" "CD" (or "RADIO"). I tried to find a "AV A-AUX" button or similar in the Beo4 "LIST" library, but there is none. Any suggestions

Your current setup is sending an analog signal to the link TV. Hence the poor picture quality. The best option for you is to get another TVIX box and connect that to your BV8. You can control the TVIX from the PUC in your BV8. A more solid solution than any built in DNLA support I would say, and I cannot imagine that B&O will enable upgrade to DNLA
When did you have the TV updated? I took delivery of mine in december, updated it 2 weeks ago, did not have the latest software.
I think it was in October/November timeframe. How can I check the SW revision? Is that the "build" mentioned in the service menu? /Claes
I think there was also a similar update for the BV10. Johan
I´m quite sure I have the latest build. Annoying problem, even though I have a workaround with the sound over SPDIF.

If I have my cable box/PVR (Humax HDPVR-1000C) connected to my BV10-40 with HDMI only, I get a really loud "pop" in the TV loudspeakers when I change channel. If I connect sound via SPDIF plus the HDMI, I do not get that kind of noise. Is that something anyone have experienced? /Claes

Agree! Very comforting. Should be proof that the new strategy flies. Hope that the Encore and the other news during the coming year will be well received. Well done B&O

Your dealer should go through how to use the Beo4 with the BV7.

I think the manual is quite good at explaining how to operate the Blu-Ray player. (Assume you have the "regular" BEO4, i.e not with the "joystick" To activate the player: Press DVD To start: Press "GO" button twice To stop: Press "STOP" button To access DVD player functional menu: Press "Menus". Navigate

I think that the codes are very much the same as for the 6500. Main commands that you use is just navigating up, down etc etc. The TVIX never crashed for me. I really like it. Handles all formats I feed it with.
