i've had 3 ps3's - the first two packed up ( so much for their reliability ) nice machine but you can get a better upscaling dvd for less money plus the ps3 has problems with it's audio out , something to do with not decoding true hd and dts master hd - i don't really care as i use mine to play games mostly and the odd blu ray my brother

you're lucky you didn't buy a philips my first philips actually exploded in a puff of back smoke and my last one , gawd knows why i bought another one , did likewise they may invent some amazing stuff , but their quality control is terrible
