I have "seen the missing" voltage switch and that shiny type antenna socket before on US-units that arrived here for service but I never saw a 108MHz version before. They seem to be quite common in the states. There's a couple more on the US Ebay with 108MHz tuners. Martin

Nice find indeed ! Can we have a photo of the serial number label, please ? Martin

Check the lamp inside the black plastic casing at the backside of the front panel. I can supply a correct lamp if needed. Presing < while playing activates the repeat function (indicated by the LED on the sensor arm flashing). Martin

Welcome to Beoworld ! Will the platter start rotating when you press < (PLAY) ? Martin

The 5V supply was always very sensitive in the BM8000 and it should be held within maximum +/- 0.1V or so. I've seen many strange issues based on instability or wrong voltage but never a tuning fault like this. Anyway, I suppose you already replaced the cap(s) on the regulators ? If you have a 10uF or 22uF cap directly across the 5V regulator, you

David, I can supply a belt. You have a PM (check your inbox). Martin

Welcome to Beoworld ! Sounds like the record sensor is bad - or you have no record on the platter. Martin

Jeg mangler to af de "store" stofpaneler til Beovox CX50 og CX100, helst sorte. Stand af stoffet er ligegyldigt da de alligevel vil blive ombetrukket. Martin

I don't have a BG4000 at hand right now. 1R42 is, if I'm not mistaken, in the (record-) sensor signal shaping circuit and has nothing to do with the servo motor control. The scope patterns shown in the schematics are the results of the lamp/sensor looking at the radial streaks on the platter. A resistor may be different from the schematics,
