The bulbs can be dimmed because they do already... The best is to remove the internal dimmer and connect the lamps directly, then you can add your LC2. p.

The BV7 32 is not Full HD, but is HD ready, so the screen is at least 720p. DVD has a slightly lower resolution. A BlueRay would in theory still give a better picture... but until someone tests it we won't know for sure. p.
