Tasp: Thanks Peter! Thanks very much for taking the time to reply. 1) I rang the former owner and I now have the manual. I have connected speakers up as you suggested and they are working perfectly. Both glass panels complete with plastic edges are still available as spares from B&O. Technically they are for the 9300 but you will be hard pressed to spot the difference!

You are Ian. Your dealer is talking "pants". It is shown on page 7 of the set up manual.

New frets are still available from B&O and cost £70-100 per speaker.

Not a data link cable but a Mk2 fully wired POWER link cable. Other than that, you are correct.

You best bet if no one here has a spare is to buy a scrap 9000. They sometimes go for not much money. Just as an aside and to give you some idea of what you should pay, when the spare cap and spring were available they cost £30!!!!

You can adjust this in the service menu via Earth Field Correction. Adjust Top Skew and Bottom Skew until the picture geometry looks correct. At least, that's how it works on my Avant MkIII

Agree on the default values but I have seen some very weird personal tastes!!!!
