Just an afterthought Jon, have you kept the original motor from this Beogram? Fairly sought after within the beocomunity and no one as yet makes a replacement unit as far as I know. Chris.

That's a great read Graham, I'm actually starting to warm to you now I know you've been a honorory Yorkshire bloke for a while Chris.

Thanks Mika, when you mentioned "office" I had a feeling you had used them with your PC. Thanks for the input on this and if I go this way I will ensure they are well away from anything they may affect. Is there anything that may need attention before I go any further (foam rot etc..)? I haven't had a chance to try them out yet and I have

Excellent work and recycling at its very best. Chris.

As you regulars know I recently picked up a bucket full of vintage B&O on ebay. I'm sat here testing out a few bits & pieces with some Pink Floyd. Currently I have Wish You Were Here on vinyl playing merrily on a superb Beocenter 7700 (with MMC4) via a pair of Beovox MC120.2.s and I have to say I'm very very impressed! For anyone as

Thanks Mika, my first thoughts were to hook them up as monitor speakers for my PC so they sound like they would do that job. My initial idea would be to wall mount them fairly high, so would you recommend I point them slightly inwards & downwards towards my seating position? I have come into possession of a pair of rather tatty Beovox 2200 speakers (they were part of a link system based around a Beocenter 7700) but don't know anything about them. There is very little info in the products section. Can anyone enlighten me as to what would be the best use for them and if they are worth keeping and putting some work into

I'm with Peter on this, the Beocord will probably drag the price of the Beomaster down with it so sell them seperately. There are going to be more people interested in the beomaster than the beocord and some will be deterred from bidding as they won't want to lumbered with it. List them a few minutes apart and anyone wanting both will bid accordingly

Alfie: Thanks - I am located in N.America so Maplins is a little out of the way for me. Mylocal B&O service centre has the answer in a used unit. Thanks again. Well done - the chances of a B&O service centre having one of these was remote in the least, let alone your local one! Chris.

Er.... weren't you trying to sell this exact model TV & remote on the general forum earlier today? It got pulled because sales should be posted in the sales/wanted section which is available to anyone with minimum silver membership. If you're fishing for its resell value you only have to ask. Frankly the TV is not worth a great deal £40
