The Beolink converter works if there is a Hifi on the other side. For a TV you need a Beolink Video. I have one and it works fine.

I am pretty sure like most of you that Blu-ray will be a niche market, but so is B&O, and in the eye of many potential buyers (not necessaraly represented here) it would feel that something is missing in the product range if B&O did not have a Blu-ray player. p.

I also hope they give us firmware update for our TVs so that we can use DVB-T on the TV button leaving DTV free for another source. p.

Useful when you want to rewind a tape while listening to the radio for example. Some 2way hifi are not compatible. It won't work on a Beosound2500 for example. Shift+Status will display the Clock.

Thanks Keith, So, is it OK to update the firmware of the remote at the dealer's shop, and then use the 1.30 config software at home without connection to B&O's intranet? p.

I haven't had the time to read the whole post, but the MX7000 is a bit special in the sense that it can have 2 options, for example it can be set to option 1+5. The PCG will tell you which options. The 5K thing is not for the BM5 but for the BS5+BM5 combo. We have learned a lot today about the BM5... I am sure the BS5 has a lot of surprise for us. I really think the BM5 is just a newer version of the BM1. The PC inside has been update, possibly new audio formats and a few new menus. When used through the TV it will be similar to the BM1, I imagine with a slightly improved interface.
