The fitting on the pole is different for 140's to accept the bigger hanger bracket. Not many were sold originally but there is probably less of a market for them now as I suppose not many people can accomodate such monsters hanging from their ceiling! The last ones I saw on ebay did not get a bid.

How did you get to the list if you haven't selected SAT or DTV on one of the scart connections?

I am afraid that the drive motor is probably "goosed". The old lubricant has dried out and you need to dismantle the motor to re-lubricate it. Requires some engineering skill on your own part or you can send it to Dillen!

The BG4500 din cable will simply plug in to the AUX socket on the BS9000

In Keith's defence, the service manual is not at all clear!! Some time ago I did the same job as you are proposing and I remember that it was easy to duplicate parts, some of which are quite expensive. Your dealer should really sort this out for you as he can refer to the spares database when ordering. One thing is clear. You will definitely need

I can pretty much guarantee that the laser head will not die. They are bombproof!!! The cd drive spindle motor however is probably near the end of it's life and replacements are not available. You would be better advised to look for a CD5500 which will prove more reliable. I suspect that you are also asking if you can connect 2 cd players to the
