Haven't we already established many days ago that it will support uncompressed PCM?

Razlaw: I come from America where we actually believe in free speach.. Oh dear. I forgot that America works very differently from the UK or, say, Germany. Of course. You've given your opinion a fair few times. Point potential BS3 buyers at the other discussion and let them read it through.

355f: One could equally say that Blue Ray doesnt make a huge deal of difference on a large proportion of discs compared to upscaled dvd- and that would be largely true Colours are definitely richer on a Blu-ray DVD. There's definitely a difference. Whether it's worth paying almost double for the 'experience' of improved colours and so

Razlaw: An upgrade may or may not be needed to enjoy True HD and DTS Master. There is a somewhat lengthy, I think somebody actually called it epic, thread here discussing the issue. Razlaw, I don't think that 'added' to the conversation. Hence my irony in the previous comment. Please do not tell potential BS3 owners that it supports True

Ahmet1: I am about to purchase the BV 4-65 or BV9. I prefer the 65" due to its size but as far as I know the display on the BV9 is of newer version. I was of the opinion that it was the other way around? I thought the new BV4 had a D10 Panasonic panel? Even the previous BV4-65 had a superb picture; better than the BV7-40 MKIII. You won't go

Get the MKIII if you want to watch Blu-ray movies in 'all their glory' and want to be able to decode* HD audio as only the MKIII can handle this. However, if you can get a seriously good discount from a MKII, get this plus the excellent 7.2 and then upgrade to the BV7-40 MKIV which should be out in 2009. *decoding is debatable - see other forum

Weebyx: My dealer is getting a program from B&O that can debug more info from the TV, then we will se if the tv logs errors that is not possible to see in the info menu, regarding the crash-to-off feature. Nice! You buy a £9000 TV and we have to do the bug testing for them (whilst the project manager is on his vacation). I had my dealer around

Weebyx: Dammit !, but i can tell you that they are looking into the problem at the moment, so we can just hope. My dealer has some more news for me tommorow, and if he doesn't know a timeframe, i will have my SW downgraded to 4.17. I am better of with no 24p support and no crash, than 24p and crashing. Is it possible to downgrade the sw? I'm

mbee: Following the announcement of our annual report 2007/08, Karl Kristian Hvidt Nielsen, CEO, Peter Thostrup, EVP, and Randi Toftlund, SVP, will be available for a phone conference on Wednesday 13 August at 15.30 CET. I just hope that we will have some good informations about future products and the way KKHN wants to drive the company in the near

martin01: I really dont understand why some of you argue so much in this subject, when you havent done your homework before. 355f is probably one the most experienced people on this board, in this area. He works in this field. I think you'd be surprised. Unfortunately some people can't reveal who they are exactly, but you need to trust their
