I have always assumed it is 0.1 but I cannot find proof of that other than many UK FM stations have odd numbers for frequency!

Beogram 3500, 4500, 6500 and 7000 are plug and play. All others inc. your TX-2 will require a RIAA preamp between the deck and the 2500.

Why not upgrade your membership and you will have access to the Beoworld User and Service manuals, many of which even B&O don't have! A site like this costs £K to set up and run and by upgrading you will be making a positive contribution to the running of the site. The BS4000 is the American version of the Ouverture and was a change in name only. Only made with small clampers. Some early Ouvertures were made with radial cd mechs but I would go for a later linear cd model as sooner rather than later the radial deck will fail and the replacement is the linear version. I know that 4000 radios work OK in the UK because

This is normally a sign that the laser lens needs cleaning. In some cases it indicates failure of the cd mechanism. Unless you are minded to clean the lens yourself then this is best left to a service tech.

The major part of the problem is the general very sharp downturn of trade in many luxury goods. People in general are more worried about how they are going to pay the shopping and fuel bills and will put off buying lifes luxuries.

Then I suspect your problem is the powerlink cable. You need to use a Mk2 fully wired powerlink to switch the MCL on and the light will go green.

If you have a Mk3/4 your dealer can order them.

Is the light on the MCL red or green? If it stays red then you probably do not have a fully wired powerlink cable. It should turn green for the amp to be on.
