As long as it's not on I don't think it's rust, it's food

  • Re: beogram 4002 tonearm issues

Yes, the sensor actually needs to see the bars to not drop the arm, which can be confusing (was to me, anyway - everybody just talks about how the deck senses the record!). The sensor in the arm is rather critical to the correct positioning of the lamp. There are simple optics in between, and the lamp needs to be at the right spot in relation to the

  • Re: Beovision avant 32 screen streaks

There are probably several kinds of AR coating methods used, but whatever it is, I'm sure it's impossible to reapply. Once it's gone it's gone, and if you can't get it off completely, the result will look horrible. Therefore you should make sure that what you see really is a problem and not the way it normally looks - on the MX/LX

[quote user="zuiderzee"]I have a 4600 with a pair of S-35's that was serviced before I bought it 2 years ago - and sounds lovely. • Re: Earset 2 Stopped working

A $400 device lasted for almost five (not less than four) years? That's less than $7 per month for the time that you have used it. Far more expensive products (like mobile phones themselves) become useless in less time than that. It probably has a Li-Ion battery. They usually die or become very weak about four years after manufacture, regardless

  • Re: Maybe a fraud with stolen B&O stuff???

The goods don't exist. Most probably you wouldn't get anything except perhaps a receipt for a payment for a shipment that never happened.

  • Re: Beosound 8 quality

[quote user="geoff martin"]To be a little clearer... Once the signal is PCM digital( 1 ) (either because it came in as a digital signal via the dock or the USB or after it was converted by the ADC( 2 )), it gets processed( 3 ) and then sent to the Class-D amplifiers. Since Class-D amplifiers are basically a PWM-based ( 4 ) "digital"

  • Re: Beomaster 900M Stereo Light

Good to hear it works Those old things often just need to be used to stay in shape. It may have been a bad contact at the switch bank. The reason for my latter question was that on FM, the stereo light has a separate sense/control circuit that may develop a fault even if the audio part of the stereo decoder is working. I have a 900 myself that needs
