Finally. I have a set of BL6000s and a set of 4000s and the BL2 would be overkill for both of them. That and I find it looks funny. Okay, thanks for the answer. I'm in Australia so the 220v is fine. I'll contact you then when I can talk my woman into letting me get a 7.1. So the Trigger Box is a box that takes the RCAs in and then sends out the powerlink? I think the only connection I saw on the 7.1 is the powerlink. I'd definitely only get a processor with preamp outs

Hi, Is it possible to attach a Beolab 7-1 to a surround sound pre-amp? This would be a no brainer with a speaker like a Beolab 4000 which has RCAs. As far as I can tell from the website, the 7-1 doesn't have RCAs. And besides that, doesn't it do center as well as left and right, or just center? Basically, I'm way too poor to afford a Beosystem

I thought it was based on discussion from way back. But I was looking at the specs and they're pretty outdated. 1080i and such. I can get the Samsung Series 6 LED 1080p 100hz TV for about $1800AUD and get the job done. Then I can get a Beosystem 3 to do the surround sound and all. Then my girlfriend will kill me. Doh!

So with a recession comes the idea that luxury items are the first to go. And granted, it wasn't a set of BL5's or anything, but I just sold a Beosound Century that I paid 750 euros for... for 650. Like 8 years later. I should've asked for the whole 750. Bwaaahahaha.
