Spot-on advice from others, but I have to say Ferdinand it is a pretty obvious solution to the problem to insert some type of spacer/adjuster at the lower end of the bracket to bring the speakers up to the desired angle. Not trying to be personal, but I don't think it takes much working out. Good luck anyway. If they are in good working condition

This will probably make B&O devotees shudder, but some years ago when my original straps snapped I replaced them with ordinary ribbon of the same width and colour. Still there and still look fine to me! I got extra ribbon at the time in case it was needed, but so far it's not. Because ribbon is so flexible it's not subject to the same strains

A possible problem might be if a fault develops with the unit(s). A dealer in Australia would perhaps realise a step-down transformer has been necessary and this could be used as a reason to decline service if they want to be awkward.

Can only speak for the DVD1 and the answer is yes. Of course it depends on what you mean by the word 'use'. The DVD1 will certainly operate connected via scart and using the front controls, the 'play button' capable of pausing the disc also, but it cannot be operated via a B&O remote as the signal goes via the B&O TV. I don't
