Nana Mouskouti on a revox b77 mkii through BS3000 and BL4000 - fantastic, might listen to Blondie though in a minute!

set it to DVD or V.AUX then the scart connector takes over and selects the device for you. I don't think it owuld work though if you have a DVD1 - you'd probably need to get an AV Expander from B&O to do that

Going back to using the VTAPE Socket and the reassignment of the other sockets - I'm not sure why that should be unless you can assign 1 and 2 and 3 is V.Aux or something. I know that I managed to use it as VTAPE. I think the two RGB Sockets are VTAPE and AV I kept messing around until I got it to do what I wanted but there is a problem with the

Actually using the camcorder sockets is a good option and as you don't need to link the x-box to other rooms is probably a good choice. I had loads of problems trying to do something similar and use the camcorder for my computer and it works fine Guess the other alternative is a scart expander?

There is but it depends on your software version. Go into the service menu (Menue, Setup, 0,0, Go) If the option Avant Variant is there (number 4 I think) press Go It will then ask if you have an internal VCR - press up or down to select No, then press Go, the EXIT You might have to do this everytime you power off or on completely as I think it senses

I have a BS3000 (Large Clamper) and am now thinking I prefer to design of the BS9500, plus it seems to have more inputs on it - the other peices of equipment I have are a TX turntable and a Revox B77 tape recorder - I also have two Avants and a link system installed. Am I right in thinking that the BC9500 will allow direct connection of the record deck

I'm glad that people are buying huge LCD and Plasma screens as it brought the price of the Avant down to a price I could afford. I also get the same comments - A friend has a SONY 32" HD LCD and that's superb on Blue Ray, but on SD the Avant is better.
-
I had an mx3500 but changed to an Avant 28" - excellent sound and picture, links in properly and by the time you've put the MX on top of something takes about the same amount of space.

I don't think they should as it's going back in time - It's unlikely that there would be a big enough market for TT or Reel to Reel or Cassette Decks = regardless of who makes them. I have a B&O turntable and love it and there are plenty of second hand ones out there. I also quite like vintage garrard decks and looking at e-bay there

You need to make sure that the mmc4 works on both channels - not sure that a beolit would accept the input from a beogram as it would need a pre-amp. Sounds like a bargain though if it all works fine and the cartridge is good
