Peter : This does seem frightfully complicated but I wonder if AV A,Aux might be what is required. I confess to never having tried this but logically that should select the Aux socket on the BS9000. Hi Peter - that would work, but I think its the 7000 not sending signal, rather than the 9000 not opening its Aux socket. The master 7000 is clever enough

Good idea. Could there also be a " Best rambling post accompanied by photographs" category......or would that be too much of a one horse race ??

Craig: Thanks Soundproof for the reply, As I have only seen the one at my dealers with an HD picture which was very good. We are going to go and have a proper look at one sometime in the next week or so. I will want to see what the SD channels from a Sky HD box look like. How do you rate the spekers of the BV8 as I don't have any external speakers

camshaft: As Dave said, in a small room or gathering they may be nice, but they're not going to replace a marshall stack. No need in this case - it will be acoustic guitar and vocal,. to about 60 - 70 people, in a room about 10m x 30m. Just tested them and it sounded stunning. Full details asap.

The Beonic Man: Well I have made a new friend through this site, Flappo the Grate, so I am extremely grateful for that. He is a 38 year old female from Uganda ( see http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=26652477 for further details) whose only interest in life is to be abusive through a number of online portals

Jandyt: Sounds like a photo' opportunity looms. Happy Easter everybody! Andy T. Andy - there may be issues there. I'm pleased to say that the performer involved has a "proper"manager, a record label, a website etc etc - he is a full time, professional troubadour, and so it may not be legally acceptable to snap away without permision
-
Dave Moulton: Hi everyone! BeoLab 5s work extremely well in small/medium club sound reinforcement, particularly for acoustic and jazz/pop acts. I've been using a pair at a local music school (Indian Hill Music Center, in Littleton, MA) for both rock/metal reinforcement and also the occasional jazz or acoustic evening, in a medium sized recital hall

I was assuming that as each TV had its own SKY box, its an audio link, with local sources only on the TV's, each able the BS9000 - in which case the options would work as described - but if, as Peter writes, one is designated video master, the other becomes a slave.
