  • Re: Beosound 2 fried?

I can't tell you what the exact problem is, but it might be a loose connection or problem inside the docking station. I have had to replace the cable going into the dock before. First thing to do is go to your dealer and ask him to find the source of the problem, don't forget to take your docking station as well as your BeoSound 2, so that he

  • Re: Link solution

Didn't realise you wanted to use video content from your iPod as well. You would not be able to do this via AUX of BS2300. Keep the iPod plugged into the TV. Is the converter in your diagram a ML / MCL converter?

Hi nmartin, Diagram 2 is the better setup in my opinion, using the TV as the master. I would however plug the iPod into the AUX of the BS2300 so then the two audio sources are kept together. You will also have the bonus of Speaker 3 mode (left, right and centre speaker) if you wish while watching a movie. This wouldn't be possible from diagram 1

  • Re: A superb combination in snow color! Take a look!

Hold on a sec guys. Are white BL3s an official colour now? I think they look great from what the photo shows. Thanks for posting this Fredrik. In answer to the white BV8 question, it is hard to clean off any marks that get onto the white rubbery surface. It really holds onto marks such as dirty fingers, dusters which aren't very clean etc. My dealer

  • Re: BeoSound 2 battery

Hi BeoBkk, My dealer charged £50 for a new battery for my BeoSound 2 and a new USB cable for the docking station as I had damaged mine accidentally. I was expecting to pay more, so well worth it if you are still using your BeoSound 2 on a regular basis in my opinion. It's also a good chance to see what's under the two aluminium covers
