Is it possible to access the menus on a Sky box (to change picture format or get programme info) from a link room via the Avant STB-C? David

Thank you Magnushi. I have two LX TV's and one of them has the same problem (although not as bad as the MX4000) and that TV is much older. The white banners do indeed make the picture jump and bend - without them it's not bad at all. David

My MX4000 has problems with graphics on the lower part of the screen. I tried to improve this using the geometry settings but to no avail. The fault shows up best on the BBC news channel which has a stream and white banners etc. It is apalling to watch as the TV is unable to present these correctly. I'm told Sky boxes output just one format as they only have one video processor. The "second location picture format" needs a TV link eye powered by the RF2 connection. Only when the box senses that the command is from RF2 will the picture change to the chosen format. With the present software variant even that does'nt work! It is

Can't believe nobody mentioned the LX! Agree with Peter that the Avant is too bulky - 100mm too tall.
