  • Re: Macro assistance MLGW

Sorry, no idea about a volume = xx setting - BUT using volume up: If volume max = 100 you would need to go volume down 100 times, then up 30 for dinner party (or up 60 for party), because you don't know the volume starting point. I wonder how much time it takes to send these many commands? Ralf PS: No MLGF here, just trying to help...

  • Re: Surround with B&O

Maybe a used Beosystem 2 will do the job, too - for less than 1.000 Euro... Search for posts on the site for this one, you will get some ideas. Personally, I don't understand the need for multi-room solutions anymore - why not a dedicated set-top-box/audio system in every room? Ralf

  • Beosound 9000 MK II - as smooth as it should be?

I bought a complete B&O System (that I will not keep, I was just interested in the speakers - Beloab 4000 - that came with it, to replace the Beolab 2500). It is a Beosound 9000 MK II. When CDs are changing you can hear a very quiet noise: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oeRMiK8sNg Not nearly as bad as here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IK2z0-lEKhU&NR

  • Re: 5500 system

A Terminal 5000 has been available for the Beosystem 5000 - but not for the 5500 (different remote control codes). No idea about the MCP, but for everyday use I suggest a Beolink 1000. Ralf

  • Re: bad surprise - beolab 6000 frets on ebay

Just offer them here (Leslie? :-))... In the end 145 euro of ebay or 220 from b and o is a simple decision or not?!? Accept the loss and go on to the next important issue in your life ;-)) Open an ebay case and leave a bad comment and that is it. Ralf PS: I once bought a stereo system for a kindergarten that was almost not wrapped/packed at all... again

  • Re: bad surprise - beolab 6000 frets on ebay

Sorry but some info is missing: The money you loose 100 euro or less is not worth thinking of and spending time on this issue. Life is too short! (The iphone app cut some text)

  • Re: bad surprise - beolab 6000 frets on ebay

Martin, try to get a partial refund (call the seller?!) and sell the frets as damaged - the money you loose ( I know it feels bad but rest assured these things will one day come back to the guy who fooled you - that is something that i believe. New frets are not that expensive, did you get a quote from a dealer? Ralf PS: You can always leave a bad comment
