  • Re: outrages prices!

Depending on how long it will take to do your link and how much cable is used, would have a direct reflection on the price. If, for example, it would take half a day with masterlink cable included, I would say that's not too costly. If it is only an hours work, then clearly it is too much.

  • Re: Beocom 6000 looses phonebook

Kevin: meandmyshadow: The BeoCom 6000 sometimes does this, turn the handset off then back on again, it will go through its update sequence and then it will be fine for another year or so Thank goodness for that! Was getting dark looks from SWMBO The thing to do now Kevin, is don't tell her what the problem was, simply tell her you've fixed it

  • Re: Beo 5 and Apple TV

The tool in question is called the IR generator, and although he first thought that it was only for use with BS3 based TV's, this is not the case, it will work with any TV that allows STBC updates via the PC service tool. The bottom
  • Re: Beo 5 and Apple TV

According to my dealer it is only available with the BeoSystem 3 so BV9, BV4 and the new BV7 are fine but it is not part of the STB SW that all the other TV's use. Has any body done this with another BeoVision, if so I would be very interested to hear.
  • Re: Beo 5 and Apple TV

wtlc2zpx: The Beo5 does not control the Apple TV directly. You still need to control the Apple TV through a STB-C. The BV7 default list of set top boxes does not include Apple TV however it can be added by you dealer. He can come to your place, plug a laptop in your BV7 and flash the STB firmware. I would also get the latest firmware for the TV just
  • Re: Beovision 4-50 Compatibility with Beosystem 3

That is exactly what the official information from B&O says.

  • Re: BV 7 says "WAIT"

Leave it in standby for 3 hours, the pin protection circuit will then be reset and will allow you to re-enter it.
