Tried it (the download from Ralf's link) and it unfortunately doesn't work, i.e. I ended up with the same loss of features as with 4.81 - though it said 4.65. Besides, it was only BeoPlayer and not BeoPort as I hoped I might find ... well, let's keep on trying ...

Actually, I find it a nice feature, too, if you insert the control panel the other way in (turning it 180 degrees) you'll notice that the characters displayed on the BS9000 will be 'upside-down', allowing for other placement options to give meaning, indeed. No I didn't personally, as I was busy answering on steph's and linder's input ... so it's a white BS9000 And they are several sheep not only one - I always felt suspicious as he/she was using we in self-reference ... using only one BeoWorld member account - they seem to speak with one voice - or save they do those sheep

But what if black BeoSound 5 looks better than the white one? I mean no customers have seen one in flash, in fact ... How do we know its original colour-range, actually?!

Let me put it this way: I bought a pair of new BL5s a few years ago and now I have a pair of used BL5s. I can't hear a difference. Frankly, if I'm to buy an additional pair in the future, I'll probably go for a second hand one - from a reliable source. Unless, of course, they add (as someone suggested here) an ultrasonic tweeter on the top
