You can also just cut off the contacts and solder the bare wires. That should help the issue. Austin

Oh, the listing does mention the cd loading issue. Either I missed it this time or they added it back in. I asked them what they meant by that, but all they told me last time was that the cd's need to be loaded manually. I'm not sure whether it was just an issue caused by the player's sensor seeing that the door was open, since there was

If you pay for the silver or gold membership you'll have access to the penta service manuals which show the full disassembly and schematics. As for your actual issue: The pentas use two separate circuit boards for the crossovers. One board handles the midranges and the other handles the tweeter and woofers. If you're certain that only the midranges

Yes, this is actually the 2nd time that has been listed. I had considered buying it and installing a new door, but at whatever the price jumped to at the end I decided it wasn't worth it. The first time it was listed though the seller mentioned an issue with it loading the cd's too though. Not sure why they didn't say anything about that

Thanks Constantine! The pick up option sounds like a good idea, but make sure you call that UPS location to verify that they'll let you pick it up, and also call before you drive over to make sure they have the package in hand. Many times the people there don't know how to handle pick-ups at location because its not the norm. I once had a seller

Hi Constantin, I answered in your other thread.

Hi Constantin, I can do that, but how soon would you need them? I can receive the speakers anytime, but as I'm currently taking final exams this week and next week, I wouldn't be able to mail them out to you until after May 14th. Also, I don't want to take responsibility for anything that may happen to them in transit. If that's ok with

Steve, if you just want to clean them and don't need to do a light polish like for Rizzo's suggestion, go to a kitchen appliance store, or the kitchen section of a home improvement store. Ask for stainless steel appliance wipes. They come premoistened with some mineral oil which removes dirt and finger prints from the steel. Then use a damp

I agree. I think the only way someone would have all those drivers is if some catastrophe destroyed their speaker cabinets and somehow left all the drivers intact. You're likely better off just looking for another pair of speakers on ebay. Austin
