Beobird: Nice reply and a good story (especially the "weed" part ). I guess it's a bit personal like you said, but I do like the lab 5 instead of the 9. The 5 looks more expensive and stylisch (because of the alumium circles) and it sounds really really good. The 9 showed on the photo from BeoBeo looks good too and I know it sounds good

Nick12345: Buy what you like the look of (and always check German ebay - there's a better selection and better prices than ebay UK - and an abundance of Dutch professional sellers who I've bought stuff from and have always been delighted) Live your dream and have fun shopping. Nice thread. I'm ready to pay a premium if the gear is in perfect

Alex: Beobird: 9, Beolab 10, Beosound 6,Beovision 8 and the redesigned/screwed up Beovisions 4 and 9 (the old ones were beautifull). The image and the sound is great, but they just don't look like B&O, and especially not like components worth thousands of euro's. Im sharing the same opion. Especially the BL9 and the BV 8 doesnt looks expensive

Beocom 6000. The definitive B&O telephone. Elegant and practical. It's all about B&O easy to use and simplicity philosophy.

I think the BV8 is a lovely set. I've got mine for some months now and are very satisfied with it. No complaints whatsoever, no need for full HD at those sizes (mine is 26" but even at 32" is not necessary), great design, materials, etc. Good choice in my opinion.

Beeanowefreak: What a great thread....I'm more of a reader here than a poster (you might guess this from my post count)....But very few 4 page threads keep me going all the way through..!! This forum is about debate, and it should be encouraged. If Trip feels he can no longer post because of some of the replys he's getting, that is a sad day

My toughts: Give away more collectible B&O gear, which is valuable and less expensive than new stuff (as somebody mentioned, Beolits, Beomasters, etc). I also support the quarterly superdraw idea, with less expensive gifts in the "normal" monthly draw. Why don't collector members (or any member) donate any of their collectible objects

TerryM: Peter : I must confess to being disappointed by this thread. I agree that what Trip wrote doesn't fit with my idea of B&O but we all write posts where we exaggerate our stance for effect and take it to extremes as part of a debate. I believe that is what has occurred here. By all means shoot the message but personal attacks are simply
