the Iphone doesnt support the B&O IR frequency. Its going to be interesting to see how flexible that thing is ..... since the master link gateway can do wifi maybethis is the base for the 2 way remote for the BS5.

Interesting reaction. I personally think Iphone control of my B&O is a waste of space but peeps here were drooling over that - and now its too expensive now we get it. I guess they can only looose .... At Trip English, how much is the ML Gateway in the US?

While I can see that CD based music systems are selling slow this would leave a hole in their product offerings. People are still watching DVDs and they need a DVD player for BV4 BV8 and BV10. I would rather assume we see the BS3200 disappearing before the BC2 rolls out ...... That said, I have one, I love mine and I will cherish it until it falls apart

I honestly believe that the BS5 can have a decent life span. The Ipod is now 8.5 years old and yes there were significant changes but it still could play music and connect to my Itunes.

Mit Beo 5 kannst Du den ATV direkt bedienen wenn Du es richtig programmierst. Mit Beo 4 (und Beotime - hab ich nicht sollt aber wohl so sein wie Beo 4) geht das nur durch den STB im Fernseher. Hast Du keinen Fernseher, schau dir Lintronik an. B&O nutz eine sehr spezielle IR frequenz deshalb kann der ATV die Befehle nicht lerne. Cheers JK

Go into the metro areas and then come again and say the Euros have better taste. I highly doubt that. When it comes to design at this point you are looking at global trends, its not that Prada from 2 years ago shows up in our stores. What you get at Ligne Roset in Paris you find in NYC. If you go into rural areas of course the game changes, but so does

A USB or SD slot is exactly the crap that I don't wont. It adds way too much complexity. The majority of music is managed in Itunes. Just make the integration work with that without hick ups. With hick ups I mean little imperfections, i.e. little gaps between music or not being able to filter out a category (christmas) in MOTS. Adding SD or USB

I just want to clarify the "killer feature" comment. I do not mean to overload a product with functions, "eierlegendevollmillsau" as we say in germany (a pig that gives whole milk and lays eggs). My BS2300 has the killer feature that the doors open when my hand comes close. My BC2 has the aluminum operation field and the angel wings

What I think is funny that I don't hear anybody complaining about the price of a Rolex. I can't swing most B&O products either, to me it is a luxury item and part of that is that it is expensive. To me I don't think it matters much if they price a BV9 at 15k$ or 20k$. If they could do a BV9 at 3 or 4k$ that would certainly change something

I am more then saturated. I have the BV8, BC 2 and BS9000 in my lounge and a BS2300 in my bedroom and a BS1 in storage. The BS9000 doesn't get much usage which is a shame, the BC2 is used every now and then for music through my Apple TV or CD or DVD. I am eying the BS5/BM5 but have concerns how nice it plays with my Mac only environment. I am not
