I think it is fake, by looking at the head phone plug, because it does not look like the one of a A8. But doens anyone know?

So no more Serene, Serenata, HDR2, DVD2, BeoSound 2 etc. - I think this makes sense. I wounder if they will cease production, or just no develop any new products in that category?

Daniel: BMGHB: Dont buy a Beo4. If ever you have to program some of the stations its a lot more difficult to do it with a Beo4. A task that only takes seconds with BeoLink 1000. I know, but since the death of analogue TV this is not a problem anylonger. Depends on country... I have analogue TV, and will for the next 10 years or so.
